Fabio Keiner, born in Vienna, Austria, is active mainly in the field of ambient and noise soundscaping for more than 20 years now, employing a vast array of vst synth and other utilities for his works. but also a main focus of his interest lies in eastern asian cultural themes from japan and china to india and now also indonesia. and in this field of cultural exploration often centered on spiritual/religious topics - so, his ongoing series on japanese shugendo meditation practice 'okugake' or 'junishi'-series on japanese/chinese astrological horology (at Aural Films).
'darshan' means in indian hindu culture the sight of godly presence - spiritual awareness of comunication and unity with deity. this short ambient improvising piece tries to give some aural notion of it.
